Trust & verification

Clear checks. Clear badges. No vague claims.

LVTS verification shows which checks have actually been reviewed and approved for a business. We only display a check as verified when the relevant evidence has been approved and remains current where expiry applies.

LVTS VerifiedLook for the status on each profile.

Verification items are shown separately so you can see exactly what has — and has not — been checked.

What we can verify

Verification is broken down into individual checks.

Identity checked

LVTS can review approved identity evidence submitted through the platform.

Business details checked

Business information and supporting evidence can be reviewed against the LVTS profile.

Insurance checked

Insurance evidence can be approved and expiry information recorded so expired documents are not presented as current.

Qualifications / accreditations

Relevant evidence can be reviewed where a trade submits qualifications or accreditation documents.

Verification process

How a check moves from submitted to verified.

1Trade submits evidence

The business uploads the requested document or supporting information.

2LVTS reviews it

The evidence is reviewed through the LVTS admin verification workflow.

3Approved status appears

The corresponding public profile check can then display as verified.

4Expiry is monitored

Where a document has an expiry date, it should stop displaying as current once that date passes.

What “LVTS Verified” means

Specific checks have been approved — it is not a guarantee of workmanship.

Verification helps homeowners assess profile information. It does not replace your own judgement, a written quotation, contract, reference checks or specialist checks appropriate to the job.
